Three Rivers Way

'Imagine village life on the Norfolk Broads where a bike or a buggie is all you need to get around. Having a safe pleasant route for walking and cycling between popular villages on the Broads is no longer a new idea! Local people continue to pursue the dream of creating The Three Rivers Way, a safe, pleasant route enabling locals and visitors, whatever their abilities, to make a short journey without using a car.

'The aim is to link four villages on three Northern Broads rivers – the Bure, the Ant and the Thurne – with paths fit for the purpose and existing quiet lanes creating a route called the Three Rivers Way ...'

Plan for 'a spinal route of about 9 miles connecting the riverside villages of Hoveton, Horning, Ludham and Potter Heigham, linking to existing lanes, bridleways and footpaths and avoiding the need for travel on the A1062, seen as one of Norfolk’s most dangerous roads'.
