'The Ayrshire Coastal Path is now a key link in IAT Scotland, the Scottish "chapter" of the International Appalachian Trail (Europe) which was launched in October 2011. We are also very pleased that the Ayshire Coastal Path has been selected for branding and promotion by Scottish Natural Heritage as one of Scotland’s Great Trails.'
