'We are continually seeking to promote the recreational use of the public path network through a series of waymarked walks leaflets ranging from short walks based on the Services' Country Parks Picnic Places and Greenways, to the long distance footpaths, the Staffordshire Way, the Way for the Millennium and the Newcastle Way Guide.'
' We have a network of over 4000 kilometres of public paths in Staffordshire. There are three types of public path: Public Footpath These are for walkers only; Public Bridleway You may walk or ride a horse or bicycle on a Bridleway. Cyclists must give way to walkers and riders; Public Byway Open to All Traffic (or BOAT) You may walk, ride a horse, bicycle or drive a vehicle on a BOAT.'
