The Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project 'celebrated and told the story of the Tamar Valley’s rich mining heritage, which forms part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site (WHS) and is located within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), through a new network of trails and paths. Through the project conservation work has been undertaken within a large area that contains mining remains and important wildlife habitats'.
