'The Way is fully way-marked along the 42 mile route which begins about half a mile south of Lower Beeding in West Sussex, close to the village hall. The journey passes through Slaugham, Handcross, Staplefield, Lindfield, Freshfield, Sheffield Park, Newick, Barcombe Mills, Hamsey, Lewes, Rodmell, Southease, Piddinghoe and Newhaven. The journey is completed upon reaching the English Channel at Seaford Bay.'
