'There are many other interesting walks in the countryside around the town. The canal towpath provides gentle level walks into open countryside both to the east and west. The 200 acres of the Common lies at the top of Park Street, whilst Freeman's Marsh is best reached via the swing bridge near St. Lawrence's Church.'
