Court Hey Park
'The traditional parkland known as Court Hey Park is one of Knowsley's best-kept secrets. Its 14 hectares provide one of the best collections of mature trees seen anywhere in the Borough with landscaped areas of wildflower planting.'
'The park is popular with local walkers and families. There is a bowling green and cricket wicket, both with active clubs keen to welcome new members. Whitefield Cricket Club, situated in the park, is one of the oldest sporting clubs in Merseyside first established in 1902. There is an orienteering course around the park and copies are available from the Knowsley Green Space Ranger. There are so many things to do in the Park, from a simple ramble along the paths and admiring the wildflowers, meditating in the Old Rose Garden, walking your dog, bird spotting, jogging, cycling or playing ball games on the playing fields.'
