It's simply impossible to get more than a fleeting taste of the AONB from a car, and walking is probably the best way to experience everything the AONB has to offer. There are routes suitable for all levels of interest and ability, so whether you're a serious long distance walker or just fancy a short stroll in some beautiful countryside, there's bound to be something suitable. The wider AONB contains an excellent network of footpaths and bridleways, as well as large areas of Open Access land.'
