Prior to this there had been an Institute and Reading Room in a cottage. It was for men only ... If you have not already visited our lovely church please do so before you leave the village. The church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, is one of the largest in Rutland. The earliest parts of the building date back to the 13th century with additions in the 14th and 15th century and major internal restoration between 1876 and 1880 ...'
