'This picturesque walk through the centre of Norwich links the Marriott's Way at Barn Road roundabout on the inner ring road with The Wherryman's Way and Boudicca Way at Norwich Railway Station.'
'A world of hidden passageways has been pushed into the limelight ... The route takes people on a journey of discovery through many of the city’s historic alleys, courts and lanes. Each walk is peppered with stories, some of which go back centuries. Each walk starts and finishes in the market place and takes a meandering journey around the city centre in a series of loops without ever crossing the same point twice. 'The Wherryman’s Way is in the Broads – Britain’s largest protected wetland. This 35-mile recreational route follows the course of the River Yare between Norwich and Great Yarmouth and takes its name from the wherry – a large cargo-carrying barge whose elegant black sails were a once common sight on these waters.'
