'Our members belong to the LDWA who live along the Welsh Marches and in the English Counties of Shropshire and Herefordshire.'

'Wales has long been a popular destination for walkers, and with some justification – the rugged peaks of Snowdonia and the majestic Brecon Beacons in particular. But other areas also have plenty to offer. For those walkers with an interest in history and archaeology a series of self-guided walks is being developed to help them explore a range of archaeological sites.'

'Powys Ramblers represent members of the Ramblers Association who reside within or close to the county of Powys in Mid Wales. There are now two active groups within the Powys Area: East Radnor, and the Welshpool Group.' Site includes details of a score of 'Walks You Will Enjoy'.

'Mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons, at the heart of Wales, is a long established mecca for walkers. Two National Trails, two long distance riverside walks and a number of shorter, but no less beautiful walks, explore the history of this remote and unspoilt area.'

'The Wye Valley Walk is the long distance footpath along the river Wye from its source to the sea. The Wye Walker provides shorter circular walks along the length of the Wye – and is for those of you who want to do some walking in the country near this beautiful river in shorter bursts, as and when you have time.'
