*Ullapool Hillwalking Club

'Despite our name we do not just walk on the hills although this is our main activity. We have members that rock climb, scramble, ski, cycle, kayak....etc, so in general we might also be seen as an outdoor activity club. The main emphasis is to have a friendly network of people that can use the Club to organise outdoor activity events. We have a programme of oganised walks but also many adhoc events are added to this throughout the year. Another emphasis for the Club is to promote the opportunity for members to enhance their hill skills and we will occassionally run courses on such topics like navigation and winter skills.'
