'The Heart of Scotland Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association arranges walks roughly in the area of Perth & Kinross, Fife, Angus, Tayside and Stirling ... LDWA members and friends, whether from the area or not, are warmly invited to come on the walks.'

'Medal Routes are three short circular walking routes that start and finish at the same location. These routes are designed to take approximately 15, 30 and 60 minutes.'



'Within Perth and Kinross there are a great deal of signposted paths, many of which connect communities and are signed from villages or towns. Local Path Networks are generally established and promoted as a result of the Council working with local communities and Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust.'



'There are endless opportunities to stretch your legs on a walking trip in Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Stirling & Forth Valley. This historic region truly does cater for all walking abilities. Hill walkers will enjoy the towering peaks of "Rob Roy Country" while a gentler stroll can be found along woodland trails. Roam some of the 720 square miles of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park or walk the scene of Robert the Bruce's famous victory in 1314 at Bannockburn.'
