Brenig Trail
'This route passes the Nature Trail and part of the Archaeological Trail. If you feel like more of a challenge, you can continue onto the Two Lakes Trail around the Alwen Reservoir. Between mid-March and the end of October you can start the route at the Visitor Centre car park. You can even pick up a Certificate (for a small fee) to prove that you have completed route !
'Route around Llyn Brenig. This reservoir is one of the largest areas of water in Wales. Opened in 1976 by the Prince of Wales, it holds 13,200 million gallons of water, covers an area of 371 hectares and took four years to fill! ...
